Vintage Handmade Haitian Wood Sculpture Figure Head Bust - Ethnic African Tribal Design - Phallic

A very unique and beautiful wood sculpture by Marcel Philippe. A strong and phallic form, it is adorned with a 1 3/4" band of copper at the base and has two decorative metal studs on the headdress.

The statue is 23 1/2" tall. The base measures 6" by 7" by 1 3/4" tall. It weighs 4 pounds 6 ounces.
Hand signed by Marcel Philippe on the underside of the base.

It is in excellent vintage condition. There is slightly wear to the corners of the base but nothing serious. It can be smoothed out with English oil or another tinted wood treatment, if you''d like.

There are no cracks, chips or repairs. Gorgeous piece!
